For third time in the last six months, I have logged over 50 miles of walking within a months time.
March I logged 55 miles
January 50.22 miles
And for May... 50.11 and today is not over yet. I may log in a mile or two by end of the day, although the weather and timing is not in my favor today.
I wish to also mention that my average speed is about 3.2 miles per hour. I try to keep a good pace, but nothing that will tear my legs up, but also not some casual stroll either. Having a good play list definitely helps in this effort!
I am rather psyched about this months total, especially when I was really slack in one week, maybe scoring 5 miles the first week of May. I totally rebounded, finishing this month strong.
My initial goal for June was to clear 50 miles.... but I think I am going to shoot for 60! That equates to about 15 miles a week. Or if I wanted to whittle it down further, 2.15 miles a day. Of course on weekends is usually my "marathon" walks, where I clear 3-6 miles on one outing.
